The technology consists of direct contact heat with an electrical aluminium heating platen that guarantees a gentle, even heat distribution throughout the entire thickness and surface of the material. The material is placed directly on top of the aluminium heating platen; the insulated cover prevents any heat loss, ensuring uniform heating.
Global ovens with an electrical aluminium heating platen offer energy-efficient heating technology thanks to the high insulation and heat storage capacity of the aluminium. Once the electrical platen heats up, only 10% of the original total energy consumption is needed to maintain the temperature.
The state-of-the-art optional feature of two individual heating zones offers additional energy-savings ranging from 33% up to 66%, achieved by heating only 1/3 or 2/3 of the total heating surface. The Global Professional thermoforming oven is recommended for individual to mid-level productions.
